Makes 3 personal size pizza crusts
Ingredients
- All purpose flour - approx. 3 ¼ cups
- Dry active yeast - 1 tbsp
- Olive oil - 1 tsp
- Salt - ¼ tsp
- Water (lukewarm) - 11 oz
Cookware
- Large bowl - 1
- Cookie sheet - 1
- Dough whisk - 1
- Pastry brush - 1
- Graduated measuring cup - 1
- Measuring cups/spoons - ¼ cup, 1 tbsp, 1 tsp, ¼ tsp
- Plastic food wrap - enough to cover cookie sheet
Instructions
- Add 11 oz water, 1 tbsp yeast, and ¼ tsp salt to the large bowl. Stir until dissolved.
- Add 1 ½ cups of all purpose flour to the large bowl. Whisk until incorporated.
- Add 1 tsp olive oil to the large bowl. Whisk until incorporated.
- Add 1 ¼ cups of all purpose flour to the large bowl. Whisk until incorporated.
- Add ¼ cups of all purpose flour to the large bowl. Whisk until incorporated. Repeat until dough is desired texture.
- Transfer dough to a flat, floured surface. Knead approx. 10 times.
- Split dough into 3 similarly sized pieces.
- Take 1 piece of dough, cloak, shape into a ball, and place on oiled cookie sheet. Repeat with 2 other pieces.
- Cover the cookie sheet in plastic food wrap.
- Allow to rise for approx. 2 hours.
