Makes 2 bowls
Ingredients
- Ramen noodles - 1 package
- Garlic (minced) - 1 tbsp
- Dried hot pepper - 1
- Miso paste - 2 tbsp
- Frozen vegetables of choice - as desired
- Canola oil - 1 tbsp
- Water - 2 cups
Cookware
- Large saucepan - 1
- Medium saucepan - 1
- Small saucepan - 1
- Strainer/Colander - 1
Instructions
- Concurrently:
- Start heating water in large saucepan (for boiling ramen noodles).
- Saute garlic and dried hot pepper in canola oil in small saucepan until browned.
- Heat 2 cups of water, miso paste, and frozen vegetables in medium saucepan.
- When water in large saucepan is boiling, add noodles to cook.
- When ramen noodles are almost cooked, pour 1 cup of miso broth and ½ tbsp spiced oil to each bowl.
- Strain ramen noodles and add to bowls.
