Makes 2 cups of rice
Ingredients
- Jasmine rice - 1 cup
- Sofrito - 1 tbsp
- Veggie bouillon - 2 tsp
- Minced garlic - 1 tsp
- Canola oil - 2 tsp
- Water - 2 cups
Cookware
- Medium saucepan - 1
Instructions
- Add canola oil to the medium saucepan. Heat on medium-low.
- Add minced garlic. Saute until starting to brown.
- Add jasmine rice. Stir and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add sofrito. Stir and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add water and veggie bouillon. Stir to dissolve.
- Cover and increase heat to high. Bring to a simmer.
- Once simmering reduce heat to maintain. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Fluff rice, cover and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.
